About us
Neo Duo was formed in Switzerland by Elena Provozina Reser (violin) and Ugo Reser (cello) – two professional musicians, laureates of many competitons and festivals, who have been performing all around the world (USA, Russia, Israel, and numerous countries in Europe) for the past 15 years.


ELENA PROVOZINA RESER (violin)
Born in 1993 in Moscow, Russia. Elena started the violin at the age of 3. First with Alla Murugova, and then with Galina Turchaninova and Irina Bochkova. In 2001 she was admitted to Central Moscow Music School, and then moved to the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt am Main, in the class of Ingo de Haas. In 2016 she received Master degree of Haute Ecole de Lausanne - class of Pavel Vernikov.
During the years of studies she was a bursar of the prestigious Vladimir Spivakov Foundation, and was awarded with prices at the competitions and festivales. Among them are festival “Fiends of Bulgaria” (Bulgaria), Laureate of “Open Volga competition” (Nizhny Novgorod, Russia), “Festival de Musica Clasica” (Algeciras, Spain), International festival of young soloists (Moscow, Russia), first price and the special prize “For mastery” at DeMUKs International Violin Competition (Ekaterinburg, Russia).
After participating in competitions she received scholarship support from Rahn Kulturfonds (Zurich), Nicati de Luze (Lausanne).
Elena participated in Master courses with Nina Bailina, Cristian Tetzlaff, Liana Issakadze, Suzanne Gessner, Itzhak Perlman. She did internship with Bern Symphony Orchestra.
She performed as soloist and as part of chamber groups and orchestras in United States, Israel, Europe, Russia.
Currently member of Sinfonietta Lausanne.
UGO RESER (cello)
Born in Metz in 1994, Ugo Reser discovered the cello at the age of 4. His years of studies allowed him to meet and work among great masters of music around Europe.
In the class of Yvan Chiffoleau within the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Lyon, he brilliantly finished his studies in France.
It is in Master of Soloist that he pursued his studies in the High School of Music of Lausanne (Switzerland) in the class of Xavier Phillips, and crowns his course by performing the Cello Concerto of N.Miaskovsky accompanied by the Chamber Orchestra of Lausanne in BCV Hall in Lausanne.
Laureates of several competitions, he has played at numerous concerts and festivals as a chamber musician, soloist or member of an orchestra throughout Europe, notably at Salle Pleyel (Paris), Victoria Hall in Geneva, the Festival in Salle Flagey “Semaine du Son" (Brussels) next to Abdel Rahman El Bacha, the "Festival du Violoncelle de Beauvais" in 2016, where he performed the Dvorak Concerto with orchestra.
He is playing on a cello by C.A Miremont dated 1876.
